This weekend the Varsity Arabians will compete in the Columbus Volleyball Classic tournament with Industrial, Tide Haven, La Grange, and Fulshear in their bracket (bracket B). In bracket A is Columbus, East Bernard, Sealy, Terry, and Luling. Bracket C is Schulenburg, St. Joseph, Lexington, Needville and Smithville. Bracket D is Goliad, Victoria West, Caldwell, and Granado. The games start at 8 am on Thursday, August 8th and continue until Saturday. This is Devine’s first tournament of the season and will help work out the kinks in the new varsity line up.
The Arabians will play Thursday at 9:00 am against L Grange and at 11:00 am against Industrial. Friday they face Tide Haven at 8:00 am and Fulshear at 10:00 am. Depending on the results of pool play will determine when they compete in Saturday’s bracket. The games on Saturday begin at 9:00 am with the top two teams from each pool in a bracket starting at 11:00am.
