Dishman, Lawless, Morales, Romano, & Schaefer play Legend’s Golf Course in Kingsland

Kelsey Dishman, Lily Lawless, Gabby Morales, Kaylee Romano, and Brianna Schaefer play Legend’s Golf Course in Kingsland May 6-7 as they take on the best of the rest of Class 4A at the State Golf Tournament.


Devine placed third as a team at Regional April 17-18 in Victoria, posting a two-day score of 723. The Arabians claimed the final qualifying spot by finishing six strokes ahead of fourth place Calallen who tallied 729.
The Arabians joined in their threesome-groups with players from Bullard and Sulphur Springs.
Morales puts the ball on the tee at 8:10am followed by Lawless at 8:20am, Romano at 8:30am, Dishman at 8:40am, and Schaefer at 8:50am. Round Two partners and tee times are to be determined at the conclusion of Round One.
Schools with complete teams competing in addition to Devine are Canyon, Fredericksburg, Lampasas, Frisco Panther Creek, Davenport, Andrews, Bullard, Sulphur Springs, Seminole, Hardin-Jefferson, and Canton.
Schools being represented by an individual medalist are La Vernia, Decatur, China Spring, Longview Spring Hill, Sweetwater, Lindale, Sunnyvale, Monahans, Rockport-Fulton, Lumberton, Navasota, and Fort Worth Benbrook.
