After 93 years, and 1 month, Antonio “Tony” Ramos Alaniz entered eternal life in heaven. He joins his beloved wife of 67 years, Sulema Riojas Alaniz, his parents Fidel & Simona Alaniz, his parents-in-law Onofre & Ramona Riojas, his siblings Jesusa Nieto, Maria DeLeon, Sylvestre Alaniz, Jesus Alaniz, Juanita Saenz, Lenor Flores & Adela Velasquez.
Tony & Sulema owned and operated Alaniz Garage in Natalia, TX, for 56 years. They retired in 2020.
Tony leaves a legacy in his children and grandchildren. He is survived by Ray (Dorothy) Alaniz of Devine, Rita (Phillip) Williams of Pearsall, and Ruby (Ken) Voss of Roanoke, VA.
He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Tony Ray (Jessie) Alaniz, Sam (Donna) Alaniz, Amy Jo (Josh) Kollman, Pamela (Mark) Ramirez, Jody Dan (Jessie) Williams, Sierra Sotelo, and Mario A. Sotelo, III; along with 11 great grandchildren, 2 siblings, Isidra Reyes and Romana Rios, numerous nieces, nephews, and family members.
Services will be held on April 22, 2024 at St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Natalia, TX. Visitation will be from 11 AM – 1 PM, Rosary at 1 PM and Funeral at 2 PM. Burial immediately following funeral services at Chilipitine Cemetery, Charlotte, TX. There will also be a reception immediately following burial at St. Rose Catholic Church, 333 Madero Ave., Charlotte, TX 78011.
