12/04-Traffic Control – Officer on duty provided traffic control assistance for a broken down vehicle until the vehicle was able to be towed.
12/04 – Minor Accident 10—50 – Officer on duty took a telephone call from a driver who had requested a tow truck be called to assist with the removal of his broken down truck which the driver was able to safely move off to the side of the road. The driver called the Officer on duty shortly after the first call to inform the Officer he’d contacted a tow truck and no longer required assistance with this matter.


12/07 – Animal Control – Officer on duty was dispatched for an Animal Control call. Upon arrival at the location the caller explained that the neighbor’s dog had dug a hole at the fence area and gotten into her yard. The resident was fearful that her three larger dogs might hurt the small intruder dog and wanted the incident documented. The hole was filled in as an effort to keep the small dog from re-entering her yard again.
12/08 – Information – The Officer on duty received a call from a complainant who claimed to have money stolen from her credit card. The Officer took the report and advised the complainant to call the credit card company directly and report the unauthorized charges made on her credit card since most companies have a fraud prevention department for these types of occurrences.
12/08 – Major Accident – Officer on duty responded to a MCSO dispatch callout for a major accident. The Officer responded to the call out and provided assistance to the State Troopers on scene.
12/10 – Animal Control – Officer on duty encountered a cow on the road. The Officer ushered the cow back onto the property in order to avoid any type of safety issues.
12/11 – Information – The Officer on duty noted the entire city of Natalia was experiencing a total power outage. The Officer made the proper notifications to city management and informed them that a transformer had blown out in Devine. The Officer took appropriate action by patrolling the city in an effort to deter any criminal activity until the power was able to be restored to the city.
12/11 – Animal Control – Officer on duty was dispatched to set up a dog trap at a specific location. Minutes after the trap was set a Dark Brown Pit mix dog was captured and removed to the City Kennels. The Officer ensured the dog was fed, watered and had adequate shelter for the day.
