Arabians and Warhorses run @ FEAST XC Meet

Thirty-three teams and 312 participants in the varsity boys division and 32 teams and 271 competitors in the varsity girls division provided plenty of tight finishes and scoring races last Saturday in San Antonio at the FEAST Patriots Cross Country Invitational.


The Arabians came in 9th overall with 275 points and the Warhorses finished 14th with 439 points.
Arabians
Rachel Stotts, Aimee Carr, and Airyanna Rodriguez all placed in the top 50 in the massive varsity girls division. Stotts led the way by placing 21st with a time of 12:25.
Carr was 33rd with a time of 12:50 and Rodriguez was 45th with a time of 13:05. Claire Jones (105th-13:50) and Charlee Rangel (112th-13:57) were the last two qualifiers that were included in the 275 total points for the Arabians.
Camila Sierra (164th-14:41.3), Angelina Garcia (166th-14:41.5), and Dani Gutierrez (178th-14:51) also ran.
The JV girls division totaled 107 runners and Jilliyn Guajardo led her team with a 21st place finish. Guajardo crossed the line at the 15:21 mark. Lexi Perez was next at 35th with a time of 15:59.
Melia Hinojosa was in the top 50 at 43rd place with a time of 16:16. Isabelle Nuncio was 55th with a time of 16:37.
Warhorses
Donovan Dixon and Jesse House led the charge once again as Dixon placed 30th and Hourse 39th. Dixon ran 17:25 and House clocked in at 17:41.
Jaiden Alvarez also placed in the top quartile as he was 70th with a time of 18:20.
Shawn Lowe (207th-20:33) and Jake Riou (230th-21:09) rounded out the 439 points for the Warhorses.
Rowdy Esparza (244th-21:25), Christian Ross (264th-22:10), Chester Darby (283rd), and Jonathan Moralez (284th-23:13) also competed.
