San Antonio Express-News writer David Hinojosa recognized Devine’s Brooklyn Miller for her outstanding performance over the course of last week’s perfect 8-0 record for the Arabian volleyball team.
After big wins against Ingram and rival Hondo to begin the week, Miller and teammate Rylee Esquibel were named Co-MVPs of the Arabian Roundup where Devine went 6-0 on their home floor.
Victories over D’Hanis, Natalia, San Antonio Wagner, San Antonio Jay, and two more over San Antonio Veterans Memorial including one in the championship game ended what was a busy, but productive week for Head Coach Leigh Anne McIver and her team.
For the week, Miller had 116 kills, 93 digs, and 10 aces.
