The Natalia Mustangs (1-3, 0-0) will welcome the Comfort Bobcats (0-5, 0-1) for the Grand Opening of the Brand New Mustang Field .
The Natalia Mustangs had the honor along with the Natalia Mustang Band in getting onto the brand new field last week for practice. This was a-part of a big project funded through various sources of funding that provided not only a new field, but a new track that will be installed later in the year as well as brand new run-ways for track as well. Brand new snap clocks are also installed thanks to donations by Security State Bank and the rest-room/concession facilities and ticket booths have seen a bit of a facelift as well as Natalia ISD continues to give the district a beautiful facelift for the kids, staff and community.
“I am super happy for our district and community,” Natalia AD and Head Coach Ilyan Martinez said. “Nothing brings joy to my heart like seeing our kids proud of our program, our school and our community. I have had several alumni contact me and come by to see the field and they are so excited and proud of it as well. It makes it all worth it in the end and I am happy for Natalia.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 7:15 p.m. at mid-field this Friday!
