Natalia Police Report Dec. 15-22

Dec. 15
4:55 PM – Officer responded to the 3800 block of Hwy. 132 N. to assist the Medina County Sheriff’s Office on an active disturbance in progress. Officer observed a man sitting on the ground bleeding from his left arm. The victim had been assaulted by his father with a board of some type. Deputies arrived on scene and took over the investigation. Officer was advised everything was under control and went back in service.
Dec. 16
5:02 PM – Officer responded to the Natalia bus barn to meet up with a complainant about her back right passenger side window was busted out. Officer spoke to the complainant and she advised she had no problems with anyone and that a stray rock may have broken the window or school bus going in and out of the parking lot.
Dec. 17
7:30 PM – Officers went to the 2800 block of Hwy. 132 to assist a female deputy on a traffic stop with a male subject refusing to comply with the deputy’s verbal commands. Officers arrived on scene and conducted a felony stop with service weapons drawn and shotgun drawn. The male driver complied with the deputy’s orders and finally exited the vehicle. He was placed under arrest and later transported to the Medina County Jail.
10:30 PM – Officers went to the intersection of CR 6850 and CR 6852 to assist a female state trooper who was out with four individuals. Officers arrived on scene and stood by while the trooper conducted her traffic investigation. The trooper later placed two people under arrest and transported them to the Medina County Jail. Officers later cleared the scene.
Dec. 21
9:20 PM – Officer responded to IH-35 S. mile marker 123 to assist with a stranded motorist, when the officer heard a crash ahead on the interstate. Officer went to investigate until DPS could make the scene. Officer spoke to the people involved and later determined the driver at fault had been drinking and driving and had a loaded pistol inside the truck. Officer detained two male subjects while the trooper arrived on scene and took over. Officer later cleared the scene and went back in service.
Dec. 22
4:00 PM – Officer responded to IH-35 S. just past mile marker 127 for a major crash between an 18-wheeler and passenger vehicle. There were three small children in the car that were in safety seats and seat belts. EMS was called out to the scene to check out everyone inside the passenger vehicle. EMS did not transport any of the children or female driver to the hospital. Trooper concluded her investigation and all officers cleared the scene.
