Mustang basketball on hold

With just two returning varsity players from last season Coach Justin Welsh and his team have some work to do before play-offs. Finishing fifth in district with a record of 6-8 and 9-15 overall, the Mustangs look to improve on all aspects of the game. With the help of Coach Diego Patino and Andrew Denny, the Mustangs look forward to getting their season started. Practice has not begun with most of the players still in football play-offs.
The Mustangs are scheduled to play La Pryor on November 16th but that depends on how Friday night against Taft goes for the football team. Basketball district will begin on December 14th against Lytle.
