Devine Police Report August 14-20

August 14
4:36 PM – Major accident in the 700 block of W. Hondo Ave. A male driver was cited and released for driving without a license, and was transported to University Hospital.
8:38 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 SB near mile marker 123 in reference to a female with a stroller walking up and down shoulder; all was okay.
9:35 PM – Officer dispatched to Hwy. 132 in reference to an 18-wheeler running cars off the roadway; unable to locate.
August 15
3:20 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of LC Martin Dr. stated someone was standing by their vehicle. Officer patrolled the area; everything appeared okay.
8:00 PM – Caller in the 500 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. called 911 multiple times with no emergency other than to complain about neighbors. Caller was informed of non-emergency number and neighbors were advised about noise.
9:48 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of W. Colonial Pkwy. in reference to a longhorn running loose in the area; unable to locate.
August 16
6:21 PM – Complainant in the 1300 block of N. Windy Knoll Dr. believed a male and female had an argument that ended in injury. All was okay; no injury was reported, just a verbal argument.
August 17
3:45 AM – Complainant advised she was assaulted by her boyfriend while putting gas in a vehicle being driven by his ex-girlfriend. Call was originally given to a MCSO deputy as complainant was in county being followed by her boyfriend. Charges pending.
9:41 AM – A suspicious person approached complainant in the 500 block of Wedgewood Way as an AEP employee stating he was going to change his electricity. Complainant was advised to contact AEP to document. Occurred on Aug. 15
7:25 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 near mile marker 124 in reference to an 18-wheeler that hydroplaned and crossed the median from NB to SB, causing it to go the wrong way; unable to locate.
August 18
3:10 AM – An adult male subject was found kneeling in the middle of the road in the 300 block of Ingram Rd. and was transported to the hospital by EMS for an emergency detention.
11:33 AM – A male subject was living in a dugout in the 300 block of N. Upson Dr. The subject was told he could not stay there.
12:17 PM – Officer was notified of a possible disturbance involving a male subject possibly diving through the window of a vehicle. Parties departed prior to officer’s arrival.
12:55 PM – Major accident on IH-35 SB near mile marker 122. Assisted by DPS and MCSO.
August 19
2:03 AM – Officer assisted the MCSO with a 911 hang-up and possible disturbance in the 700 block of Hwy. 173.
2:50 AM – A Medina County warrant was served on a male subject in the 100 block of IH-35 N. for forgery of a financial instrument. The subject was jailed.
2:50 AM – A Bexar County warrant was served on a female subject in the 100 block of IH-35 N. for burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault. The subject was jailed.
11:52 AM – Complainant spoke to officer in reference to a red truck that followed her from Lytle.
4:20 PM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of S. Commercial Dr. in reference to a verbal disturbance between a male and female.
August 20
8:24 AM – Verbal disturbance between a husband and wife over a vehicle in the 1200 block of Devine Dr.
11:40 AM – Complainant reported a male subject on a bicycle hanging around without a mask and asking customers for money. Officers ID’d the subject, who departed.
1:42 PM – Verbal disturbance between a homeowner in the 900 block of CR 7711 and a Census Bureau representative.
