It’s that time of year and Adrian Camarillo’s mother Mary Jane Balderrama is inviting anyone who can come out to help for about an hour next to the Dollar Tree in Devine on Thursday, June 10 at 9:00 am. You’ll see the blue Adopt-a-Highway sign with Adrian’s name on it.
We will provide mosquito spray, trash bags, safety vest, and water for you. Bring a trash grabber and gloves if you have them. The grass will be a little tall so wear appropriate clothes and shoes.
June 10 is Adrian’s birthday. He would have been 45 years old. There’s no greater pain than a parent having to bury a child. Many of you already know that. Adrian was 18 when he died.
I hold onto God’s promise of a resurrection when we will all see our loved ones again.
Adrian was an organ donor, giving the gift of life to five people.
