Devine Police Report May 28-June 3

May 28
11:29 AM – Complainant on Allman Dr. reported a male pushing a baby carrier. Officer made contact and ID’d the male; all was okay.
2:07 PM – Disturbance between a male and female in the 500 block of Crouch Ave.
4:25 PM – Male driver in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. cited for driving without a license.
5:45 PM – A male subject at Walmart was cited and released for theft < $100.
9:16 PM – Officers dispatched to the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a possible intoxicated driver.
10:20 PM – A male subject in the 1000 block of E. Hondo Ave. was arrested and jailed for public intoxication.
May 29
7:58 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of N. Bright Dr. was irate with dispatch after calling 911 for a disturbance regarding a noise behind the home; all was okay.
9:10 AM – A tree limb was on the roadway on Upson Dr. and was removed prior to officer’s arrival.
12:09 PM – Complainant reported vehicles parked too close to fire hydrant on Jack Nicklaus Dr. Vehicles moved upon officers’ arrival.
12:58 PM – Complainant found a used needle on the ground in the 300 block of N. Upson Dr. It was photographed and discarded in a sharps container.
4:48 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Bentson Dr. noticed a blue bike in his side yard. The serial number was run through dispatch and the bike was clear.
9:17 PM – Officers dispatched to the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. in reference to a white Ford F-150 parked at pumps for a long period of time. Officers made contact with owner; all was okay.
9:39 PM – Officers dispatched to Walmart in reference to an 18-wheeler blocking the roadway; unable to locate.
May 30
8:10 AM – Complainant found an abandoned phone and turned it in for a report. The phone was returned to its owner on May 31 and a property receipt was given.
7:46 PM – Officers dispatched to the 300 block of Briscoe Dr. in reference to a physical altercation between two males. One male was transported to Medina Regional Hospital for injuries.
8:38 PM – Complainant reported a white SUV unable to maintain lanes in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. Officer patrolled the area; unable to locate.
9:33 PM – Complainant at Murphy USA reported a white Infiniti with black rims that stole $32.56 of gas from pump #8.
May 31
12:18 AM – Officers advised homeowner in the 200 block of Breeze Dr. to lower music.
1:05 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Stallon Tr. in reference to a physical disturbance between family. The aggressor was identified; all was okay.
7:40 AM – Theft of two tires at Walmart valued at $152.00.
10:40 AM – Complainant in the 300 block of Cardinal Dr. reported a loud noise from an electrical transformer. AEP notified.
4:24 PM – Complainant found a phone that was later returned to owner.
7:06 PM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of N. Transportation Dr. in reference to a male subject with beer. Subject emptied beer; all was okay.
8:10 PM – Officers dispatched in reference to a male customer causing problems and trying to start a fight with the complainant.
10:40 PM – Complainant reported a female walking in the roadway in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. All was okay; no sidewalk available.
June 1
1:26 PM – Complainant reported damage on multiple vehicles.
5:20 PM – Disturbance between son and mother in the 600 block of Webb Ave. The son was served with a Devine PD warrant for Theft >=$100, < $750.
7:35 PM – Crossing arms at Colonial Pkwy. not working properly. Union Pacific notified.
June 2
12:01 AM – Officer found a child’s baseball bat in the 300 block of N. Upson Dr.
12:25 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. in reference to a white F-250 on location possibly taking pallets. Everything appeared okay; driver’s info was obtained.
1:09 AM – Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office in the 200 block of CR 777 in reference to two small dogs in the area that had possibly been dumped.
5:48 AM – Complainant reported two loose bulls on roadway in the 100 block of Allman Dr. Only one had gotten out; owner made location and put him back in pasture.
6:30 AM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of Covey Ln. in reference to someone burning in the area. Officer spoke with resident, who advised he would put it out.
7:20 PM – Officers dispatched to the 1200 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a passerby reporting what appeared to be a male subject with a gun along with a female; unable to locate.
11:25 PM – Officer assisted the MCSO with an alarm in the 100 block of CR 773. Officer searched the area; everything appeared okay.
June 3
12:13 PM – Water on road on McAnnely Ave.; flood gates closed. Leaning utility pole; AEP notified.
12:18 PM – Water on road on Brown Ave.; flood gates closed.
6:59 PM – Officer dispatched to IH-35 SB in reference to a white Suburban all over the roadway; unable to locate.
7:34 PM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. in reference to a male who walked out of the store with an unpaid Stihl backpack leaf blower valued at $400. Employee was able to retrieve property from unknown subject, who departed in a white Ford F-150 before officer arrived.
7:38 PM – Officer dispatched to the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male subject in the back of property; unable to locate.
