According to City Administrator Dora Rodriguez, “The water sample is back and was determined not to be chlorinated. But in talking with the City Engineer and City Attorney, we feel it is important to find the leak source. We spoke with TXDOT on Wednesday evening and they’re willing to help us out and are allowing us today to use their milling machine so we can dig closer to the corner near Exxon. We are already digging this morning and are already finding water seeping up. We will continue to keep the public updated.”
Traffic is being diverted around the downtown main light area as crews work to solve the issue.
