Lytle’s Independence Day celebration July 3

The annual celebration in Lytle for the 4th of July will take place this year on the eve of our nation’s birthday. On Monday, July 3rd, the city of Lytle and their tourism department will host the event starting at 7 p.m. in John Lott Municipal Park.
There will be free hot dogs, drinks, chips and snacks for those who come early enough to grab some. Snacks will include Rico’s buttered popcorn and Roxie’s snow cones. Entertainment will also be available for the kids including a Disney Princess bouncer for girls, a batman jumper for boys and a Sea World combo bouncer with basketball hoop and slide for older children.
San Antonio Fantasy Faces will be there to provide face painting and a balloon twister.
Everyone should bring along their lawn chairs, pillows and blankets and anything else they think they will need to make themselves comfortable for the wonderful fireworks display that will begin at 9:30 p.m. Rumor has it that this year’s display will have an added surprise. So, everyone plan to be there for a fun filled family evening.
