Laura Galindo, 52, of Devine, passed away September 12, 2017 at her residence.
Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Lytle on September 14, 2017 from 5:00 – 9:00 pm.
Funeral service was held at Hurley Funeral Home on September 15, 2017 at 10:00 am with Pastor Dan Ytuarte officiating. Burial followed at Rossville Cemetery.
Laura was born in San Antonio to Lee and Mildred Bernice Verhey on March 27, 1965. She worked for Medina Valley for 20 years, and was Potranco Elementary’s campus secretary.
Laura is preceded in death by her father, Lee R. Verhey.
Laura is survived by her husband, Roger E. Galindo, Sr. of Devine. Their six kids and 11 grandchildren. Jennifer Rebman, Jerred Rebman and family of Lytle; Heather V. Galindo, Jake Ramirez and family of San Antonio; Krystle N. Huron, Robert Huron and family of Nebraska; Marissa Morantez, Santiago Morantez and family of Devine; Roger Ernest Galindo, Jr. of San Antonio; April Galindo, Christian Acosta and family of San Antonio. Mother, Mildred Bernice Verhey of Lytle, oldest brother Lee Verhey of Dallas, Mike Verhey of Pipe Creek, Joe Verhey of Dallas, Gwen Ansloan of Dallas, Peggy Casey of Lytle, and Jeanne Wyscarver of Rotan.
