Eloisa V. Saldana, of Devine, passed away Tuesday September 19, 2017 in San Antonio at the age of 82.
She was born April 27, 1935 in Pearsall, Texas to Luis and Guillerma (Lopez) Vasquez.
Eloisa is preceded in death by her husband, Pascual (Jimmy) R. Saldana; parents, Luis and Guillerma Vasquez; three brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Jane (Manuel) Zurita and Sandra (Gilbert) Del Toro; brothers, Victor and Johnny Vasquez; sister, Lupe Trevino; six grandchildren, Manuel, David, Iris, Daniel, Joshua, Heather; and 14 great-grandchildren, Adan, David, Jerrod, Izabella, Joshua P., Andrew, Amadeus, Abigail, Makayla, Jamison, Chanel, Alexis, Sarah, and Jonathan .
Visitation was held Friday, September 22, 2017 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel, 303 W. College Ave., Devine, Texas.
A funeral mass was held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 108 S. Washington, Devine, Texas with interment following at Moore Catholic Cemetery, 577 CR 1585, Moore, Texas.
