Lady Mustangs shut out in Karnes City

The Natalia Lady Mustangs dropped a crucial road game in Karnes City April 10th, as stranded runners proved costly. Natalia stranded a total of four runners including four of which reached third base during a 1-0 upset win by the home squad Lady Badgers
Natalia had a golden opportunity in their opening at bat, as they used a pair of singles and a walk to load bases with a single out. Unfortunately, a fielder’s choice and a ground out allowed KC to get out of the inning holding the Lady Stangs scoreless.
From here on out, it was a good defensive battle between two talented squads. Natalia stranded one runner in the 5th and one in the 6th innings of play.
