Fillys and Colts compete in Poteet cross country meet

Twenty-three middle school Cross Country runners participated in the Aggie Invitational in Poteet last Saturday morning. Each runner bettered previously recorded meet times as they prepare for their final competition at district in Lytle on October 11.
“I was extremely proud of every one of the runners for how they competed not only against the field but also against themselves. Each time we run, we want to improve from our prior meet. As a whole, we knocked off 1,548 seconds (25.8 minutes) from our best team total, which is outstanding. We have one more week to prepare for our most important, and last, meet of the season,” stated Coach Khera Vay.
