Mrs. Carrie Sue Melton Muzquiz, age 77, of Lambsburg, VA, and formerly of Moore, Texas, passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017, at the Woltz Hospice Home.
Mrs. Muzquiz was born in Carroll County on June 8, 1939, to Kelly and Abby Spencer Melton. She was a loving homemaker who will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Eloisa Muzquiz and Rick Smith, Anita and Max Blevins, and Christina and Tommy Harrold; grandchildren, Alicia Davis and husband Jason, Marissa Tate, Cayla Tate, and Autumn Tate; great grandchildren, Madison Davis, and Ian Davis; a sister, Elizabeth Sharpe; a brother, Pete Watson; and special caregivers, Teresa Ayers, Katherine Ward, Ashley Ward, Keisha Hunter.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Muzquiz was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Thomas Muzquiz; a sister, Peggy Watson and a brother, Johnny Watson.
A private burial service will be Saturday, April 15, 2017. The family will receive family and friends at the Sea Island Shrimp House, 2119 SW Military Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78224 at 1:00 p.m.
