Carmen Esparza, of San Antonio, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 in San Antonio, at the age of 84.
She was born July 16, 1934 in Buena Vista, to Federico and Victoria (Huizar) Ojeda, both who precede her.
Carmen is survived by her husband of 63 years, Robert Esparza; sons, Robert Esparza, Jr. and wife Stacey, Joe Robert Esparza and wife Sandra Morris; daughters, Edna and husband Herman Martinez, Bobbie Anna Rummel; grandchildren, Herman, Jr., Kimberly and Eric Martinez, Robby and Elijah Esparza, Janelle Delgado, Joecelyn Zimmerlie, Jillian Esparza, Victoria and Kaylee Davila and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Thursday, January 3, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with rosary recited at 7:00 pm, at the Hurley Funeral Home Chapel in Lytle.
Funeral Mass was Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:30 am at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Natalia, with Father Antony Varghese officiating. Interment followed at Lytle Community Cemetery.
