On Saturday, July 15, the Lytle Community Center will be transformed to the Fabulous ’50s. Put on your poodle skirts, white T-shirts, jeans and join the fun. Lytle Animal Allies in partnership with the City of Lytle Animal Care and Control are hosting our annual PAWS of Summer. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Admission is free however we ask you bring a bag of dog or cat food to help stock Bella’s Pantry.
The fabulous Vinyl 45’s will be playing starting at 5:30 pm. The Silent Auction starts at 5:00 pm. A scrumptious burger plate ($5) will be served along with the delicious Bake Sale. The world famous Twinkie Dogs are making their appearance in the Bake Sale. These little treats are not only delicious but so stinking cute. Lytle ISD National Honor Society students will be running the Bake Sale. We also will have Coke Floats available ($2).
We have two fundraisers going on, one for a beautiful quilt generously donated by the Plain Jane Quilters ($1 a ticket) and the other is the 5 in 1: Samsung 55” UHD TV donated by Lytle State Bank; YETI Tundra 65 donated by Friends of Lytle Animal Care and Control; $250 HEB Gift Card; Diamond Circle Pendant Necklace donated by Miriam and Randy Garcia; and $100 Gift Card donated by Friends of Bella ($2 each or three tickets for $5).
The Silent Auction has over 150 items to bid on. Assortments of items are available for your bid, something for everyone. The Live Auction will include a six sided table made and donated by Pam and Bobby Rendon; handmade knife donated by Jerry Stone; Texas fire pit made by Lytle FFA students and a seven-night condo stay in Anchorage, Alaska donated by a family who recently adopted two dogs from us. Also the kennels, cattery, catio will also be auctioned off as well. We will probably have a few more items to add.
