Eliseo “Cheo” Hernandez went to our Lord on September the 2nd. He was born on June 14, 1940, in Black Creek.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Victoria Hernandez; his brothers, Eddie, Jose Salome, Macario, and Adolfo Hernandez; and by his beloved sons, Eliseo Jr. and Jerry Hernandez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alberta Hernandez; his brothers, Juan and Richard Hernandez of Devine; his daughter and her husband, Maria and Donald Jesse from Michigan; John Blakey Colburn from San Antonio; Benjamin Colburn from Michigan; Martin, Jose, Victor, and Luis Hernandez from Devine; and all his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be Friday, September 8 at 7:00 pm. Mass will be held Saturday, September 9 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Devine. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Devine.
