The Devine HS Class of 1973 will celebrate their 50th Reunion at Homecoming on October 13th and 14th! On Friday night at the Homecoming football game at Warhorse Stadium, they will be introduced down on the track at halftime, then again on Saturday afternoon. They will present their 50th Reunion program during the HC festivities at the VFW, hosted by the Devine Ex-Students/Teachers Association (DExSTA).
The ’73 Honor Class representatives, Diana Rohmer Patton, Sharie Smith Brandt, Melody DuBose Brown, and John Rotramel have been planning for this event for the past year and are excited to see their classmates and celebrate their reunion!
Homecoming is for ALL Devine alumni, so ex-students and teachers (and current teachers) and their guests are invited to attend! The main Homecoming event is on Saturday, Oct. 14th and will start at 1pm with visiting, followed by the annual DExSTA meeting and Honor Class program; but it will extend into the evening (6-10pm) this year with food trucks and lots of time to catch up with your classmates!
Also this year, all former Devine Twirlers will be honored at Homecoming and their uniforms and pictures will be on display. There will also be hundreds of other pictures and memorabilia to view, that are only displayed once a year, during Homecoming!
So Come-on-By the VFW on Saturday, October 14th and check out what Homecoming is really all about!!
*DExSTA memberships are available for only $10 and will help pay for the hall, food, and other Homecoming expenses, plus help fund the annual scholarships for graduating Devine HS students.
