Margarita Q. Maldonado of Lytle, Texas entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the age of 83, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Sinton, Texas on July 31, 1940, to parents Alfred P. Maldonado and Francisca Q. Maldonado.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Betty Jean Estrada; sister Anita M. Fraga; granddaughter Sabrina Lynn Gracia.
Margarita is survived by her daughters Esmeralda Cardenas and Claudia Paniagua; sons Tony Rodriguez Jr. (Sandra), and John Paniagua; grandchildren Justin Gutierrez (Lynn), Samantha Paniagua (Bryan), John Paniagua Jr., Samantha Gracia, Sydney Gracia, Savannah Lopez; great-grandchildren Joaquin, Scarlett, Kai, Addison, Brooke, Callie, Sallie, Serina, Stephanie, Sienna; brothers and sisters Beatriz, Alicia, Elena, Irene, Delia, Alfred, Amelia, Ruben; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Services were held Thursday, May 9, 2024, with visitation starting at 8:00 A.M. until the Rosary began at 9:00 A.M. at Primrose Funeral Services of Lytle, Texas, they proceeded to St. Andrew’s Catholic Church of Lytle, Texas for Mass starting at 10:00 A.M. with interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Devine, Texas.
