Warhorses capture Randolph Invitational track meet

The Devine Warhorse track team is more than ready for this week’s District 29-4A track meet. The Warhorses captured first place in last Thursday’s Randolph Invitational by scoring 226 points, edging out runner-up Wimberley who had 189.

Highlights for Devine included first place finishes by all three relay teams, Guido Zapata in the 110m Hurdles, and Tristin Ortiz in Shot Put. Coming in second in events were Xavier Garza in the 3200m Run, Zapata in the 300m Hurdles, Dakota Wofford in Discus, and Jacob Featherly in Pole Vault.
