With the new school year is just around the corner, Lytle ISD is proud to introduce the 2024-2025 District Leadership Team. Read about their service and experience as educators, and their vision and hopes for supporting and leading our school community.
Superintendent
Lytle ISD is ready for the 2024-25 school year with Dr. Dustin Breithaupt as the new Superintendent of Schools. Dr. Breithaupt brings 24 years of experience in public education and has served as a bilingual elementary teacher, assistant principal, secondary campus principal, and Director of Curriculum & Instruction, primarily in large urban and suburban districts. The past three years he has served Lytle ISD as Assistant Superintendent. Being a Lytle Pirate is a dream come true for Dr. Breithaupt, as he can interact with incredible teachers, staff and students daily, visiting classrooms and supporting campus and district leaders. During his free time he enjoys spending time at his hill country farm and travel adventures to places near and far!
NEW LEADERSHIP
Assistant Superintendent
Dr. Tanya Tate will serve in a new role as Assistant Superintendent. Dr. Tate’s educational journey began at Stephen F. Austin State University, culminating in a Master’s and Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio, along with Principal and Superintendent certifications. Her 25-year commitment to education spans from teaching roles at both the secondary and elementary levels to leadership positions as Assistant Principal and Principal, including her most recent role as Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Lytle ISD. Dr. Tate is married to her college sweetheart, Coach Jonathan Tate (retired), and they have two children, McKayla and Owen, as well as a rescue dog, Saydee.
Director of Human Resources
Mrs. Laura Uribe-Center continues to serve as the Director of Human Resources and Federal Programs. Laura Uribe-Center, M.Ed., is a dedicated educator with 33 years of experience, including 29 years with Lytle ISD. With a background in school counseling, she brings compassion and dedication to her role. Residing in Lytle, Texas, with her husband, Oscar, Laura is a devoted mother of three daughters. Her two older daughters, Lauren and Kristin, graduated from Lytle High School and have followed in her footsteps, becoming educators. Her youngest, Juju, will be a senior at Lytle High School. As a servant leader, Mrs. Uribe-Center deeply cares about the well-being and success of the students and staff of Lytle ISD, consistently demonstrating her commitment to their growth and development.
Director of Curriculum & Instuction
Mrs. Juliana Lingo serves in a new role as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction. Juliana Lingo, M.Ed., is an accomplished educator with over 13 years of experience as a teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal and Director, including 6 years with Lytle ISD. She brings expertise in curriculum development, inclusive learning and accountability. Known for her proficiency in data analysis and grant management, she partners to enrich educational opportunities and success for all students. Mrs. Lingo resides in Lytle with her husband Sam and their two Lytle Pirates daughters, Chloe (1st grade) and Kaylee (4th grade). Juliana is excited about her new Director of Curriculum & Instruction role and looks forward to continuing to seek innovative contributions to student success.
