“Our hearts stopped when we heard of a major bus accident carrying Natalia students from route #1 early this morning. It is the king of news no one wants to hear from a school.
We learned that some students suffered minor injuries, and one child was transported with non-life threatening injuries. We are grateful to all the first responders and the medical teams who arrived on the scene quickly. Their commitment and care for our community is inspirational. The Texas Department of Public Safely is investigating at this time.
We hope this is one of those situations that never happens, but we are grateful and blessed that there were no major injuries. Please say a prayer or have a positive thought for the students and families involved. We will be working with the families to make sure our kids are supported.
Administrative Teams from each campus have been checking on students from route #1 who are at school with us today and personally contacting all families affected.
Thank you for your continued support; we certainly felt the arms of the community wrapped around our Mustang family today.”
