Black Creek Road – DPS initially responded to a call for a suspicious man banging on the door of a home in the area of Black Creek Road (CR 765 and CR 1660) just north of Moore. A woman who was home alone with children, and had called for help as she was reluctant to open the door of course. By the time a neighbor arrived to help, the police and firefighters arrived to find a rollover accident nearby hidden by the brush line.
Two were two people involved in the rollover accident, and the man that had been banging on the door was looking for help, as his passenger was injured.
“The car had crashed through a barbwire fence and rolled in the field,” according to Moore VFD. ” The driver had already pulled the passenger out of the car when we arrived on scene. The driver appeared to be okay, but the passenger was airlifted to SAMC was possible head trauma.”
