Natalia Police Report March 31-April 14


March 31

12:34 PM – Officer responded to the 500 block of Palfrey St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on location and spoke to an elderly lady and advised she was arguing with her nephew and just wanted him to go away so she could rest. The nephew was no longer a problem and all parties were separated.
April 8
9:00 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop in Natalia and spoke to a complainant about a man calling her from Brownsville and harassing her over the phone. Officer advised her to call Brownsville PD and speak to an officer about the phone harassment. Officer was able to locate an address from the caller and provided it to the complainant.
10:00 PM – Officer made contact with a female wanting to report four lost keys that belonged to the Beverage Express. The female stated she worked for the store and had misplaced the keys to the store and didn’t know where the keys were at and wanted to report it to the police.
11:15 PM – Officer responded to the corner of 3rd and FM 471 S. about a 14-year-old runaway. Officer made contact with the mother of the male juvenile and she stated her son got upset and took off walking down the road and hasn’t returned home. Officer searched a residence where he has been known to go, but wasn’t there. Officer later got information he was at the HEB gas station in Lytle. The officer went and retrieved the juvenile and returned him back to his mother.
11:15 PM – Officer responded to the 400 block of Palfrey St. for a lift assist of an elderly woman that fell down in her tub floor. EMS and officer arrived on scene and assisted her to her bed where she was safe. Her provider cared for her as the officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
11:15 PM – Officer responded to the 100 block of 9th St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived on scene and spoke to both parties. The male subject agreed to leave the residence for the night so there wouldn’t be any more arguing. Officer cleared the scene without incident.
April 9
10:56 AM – Officer responded to the 4000 block of Hwy. 132 N. about informing the mobile home park manager of the City ordinance and Code enforcement for installation of sheds. Officer left the literature and cleared the scene.
12:25 PM – Officer responded to the 400 block of 4th St. about a dead dog. Officer went and picked up the dog and discarded it properly.
April 10
9:42 AM – Officer was shown a knife that was found on the street and wanted to turn it in. The knife was collected and placed into property for safe keeping.
4:10 PM – Officers responded to the 400 block of Palfrey St. to serve a felony warrant on a white male subject for burglary of a habitation, 2nd degree felony. The male subject was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Medina County Jail.
April 11
3:34 PM – Officer responded to the 500 block of Aubrey St. about someone trespassing on one’s property. Officer arrived on location and issued a criminal trespass to a Hispanic female and was asked to leave.
9:08 PM – Officers responded to the 600 block of 6th St. to assist EMS on an elderly sick woman unresponsive. EMS arrived on scene and later transported the elderly woman to Southwest General Hospital for further medical evaluation.
April 12
12:40 AM – Officer responded to the 700 block of Palfrey St. about a sick male subject needing to go to the hospital. EMS arrived on scene and later transported the male subject to Southwest General Hospital for a medical evaluation.
10:48 PM – Officer responded to the Natalia HS alternative building for an audible alarm. Officer found the door unsecured and searched the building to find nothing was damaged or stolen from inside the building.
11:15 PM – Officer responded to Natalia City Hall where officers met up with an elderly woman complaining of her being assaulted by her grandson. Officers took a video statement from the woman and later found the grandson at the intersection of Hwy. 132 and Aubrey St. He was taken into custody and transported to the Medina County Jail for injury to an elderly.
April 14
6:33 PM – Officer responded to the 3000 block of 35 South access rd. Officer arrived on scene with EMS already on scene working on a female with low blood sugar. The female was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital in San Antonio.
7:18 PM – Officer responded to the 800 block of 5th St. about a lapsed crash that occurred the night prior to this report by her grandson who failed to report the crash to law enforcement because he said he was scared. The grandson told the officer the other person left the scene also.
