Natalia Police Report August 17-September 2


August 17
8:00 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop about a private property accident between two semis in the back parking lot. Officer handed the two drivers blue forms and explained the instructions.
9:18 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop on an unusual circumstance. Officer attempted to look for a blue Nissan sedan and was unsuccessful to contact the caller about some money owed to her. Officer went inside the store to speak to the Mgr. and employees and it appeared to be a false report.
August 18
6:02 PM – Officer responded to the 700 blk. of 4th St. about an elderly male with shortness of breath. EMS arrived on scene, assessed the patient, and later transported him to an area hospital.
8:31 PM – Officer responded to the 300 blk. of Miller St. about loud music. Officer made the location and spoke to the complainant about the loud music. Officer was unsuccessful in locating any loud music.
August 26
4:52 PM – Officer responded to the 400 blk. of Palfrey St. about a verbal disturbance. Officer arrived and spoke to the homeowner and she informed the officer she just had a disagreement with her son. No charges filed, and officer cleared the call.
August 27
9:18 PM – Officer responded to the 500 blk. of Aubrey St. about an unwanted male subject. Officer arrived on scene and made contact with the caller and unwanted subject. Officer was advised the male subject was there to see his kids and go home. No further action taken.
August 28
11:22 AM – Officer responded to the Natalia High School parking lot to assist a student who locked their keys in their vehicle. Officer unlocked the vehicle, cleared the parking lot, and went back in service.
11:20 PM – Officer heard a Deputy check out with a disturbance at the 200 blk. of Miller St. Officer arrived on scene and took over the scene. The couple was just having a verbal misunderstanding and advised they were not fighting. All officers cleared the scene without further incident.
August 29
10:28 AM – Officer responded to the band hall in Natalia for the strong smell of smoke. Natalia VFD arrived on scene and discovered the source, which was some burnt wires from the PA system.
11:00 AM – Officer responded to the 2400 blk. of Hwy. 132 N. about a disturbance. Officer made contact with the parties. All had calmed down and were not going to cause any more problems.
9:15 AM – Officer received a call of a water leak in the 300 blk. of Palfrey St. Officer called the city workers to go out and fix the water leak. The city workers arrived on location and were able to temporarily stop the water leak.
August 30
8:00 PM – Officer responded to the 1900 blk. of FM 463 to assist with a disturbance until a Medina County Deputy arrived on scene. Deputy later arrived and took over the call.
September 2
2:35 PM – Officer responded to Natalia High School about an alarm call. Officer arrived on scene and checked the school for any break-ins. Officer concluded the check, cleared the scene, and went back in service.
