Lytle Police Report August 27-September 2


August 27
6:33 AM – Officer initiated a criminal investigation.
7:45 AM – Officer responded to N. Prairie St. for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in complainant’s driveway. The owner of the vehicle returned and it was a parent dropping off a child at the Primary School.
5:15 PM – Officer responded to Hacienda Jaliciense for a report of a broken gas line. The gas line was broken by a contractor digging in the area.
6:15 PM – Officer responded to 19200 Blk. of First St. for report of dogs barking nonstop in the area. Officer forwarded the call to Animal Control Officer.
11:00 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a male rolling around on the ground and eating produce. Officer made contact with the male and conducted an emergency detention. The officer transported him to University Hospital in San Antonio.
August 28
No Activity for this Day – Wow, that’s nice!
August 29
5:41 AM – Officer responded to 20200 Blk. of IH 35 S for a report of a rollover accident. No injuries reported.
10:30 AM – Officer met with complainant at the Police Station and talked to officer in reference to her son.
11:50 AM – Officer responded to 18300 Blk. of FM 2790 N to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
4:50 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N for a report of a female juvenile being harassed by other juveniles. Officer located the female juvenile and contacted her foster parents. The juvenile was picked up shortly thereafter.
August 30
6:35 AM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a civil matter involving child custody.
8:09 PM – Officer responded to Blume Dr. area for a report of a suspicious male knocking on doors. Officer was unable to locate.
8:50 PM – Officer responded to 15100 Blk. of Norvell St. to assist Atascosa EMS with an elderly female having difficulty breathing.
August 31
10:58 AM – Officer responded to the 19100 Blk. of N. Prairie St. for a suspicious vehicle.
1:14 PM – Officer responded to the 17900 Blk. of Ball Rd. in reference to a tree that was knocked down without the owner’s permission.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus to unlock a vehicle.
3:20 PM – Officer responded to the Bill Millers for a minor accident.
3:55 PM – Officer responded to the Lytle High School for a report of a reckless driver in the parking lot.
7:17 PM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus to assist EMS.
7:34 PM – Officer responded to the Lytle ISD football field to assist EMS.
9:15 PM – Officer responded to the intersection of Cottage St. @ Easy St. in reference to a vehicle that struck the fire hydrant and left the scene.
11:30 PM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus for a report of damage done to a vehicle. While investigating the suspect drove by and was stopped. A 25-year-old male subject was arrested for Criminal Mischief $100 – $750 and booked into the Atascosa Co. Jail.
11:30 PM – Officer responded to the 15000 Blk. of Short St. for a runaway juvenile report.
September 1
8:00 AM – Officer received information from Atascosa Co. Dispatch that a missing person Lytle PD had entered was found safe.
10:20 AM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus in reference to an unknown male and female that walked out of the store with an unknown amount of items 30 minutes prior.
12:32 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 at mile marker 132 northbound for a single vehicle rollover accident.
1:39 PM – Officer responded to the area of McDonald St. @ IH 35 for a possible intoxicated driver. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was fine.
3:04 PM – Officers responded to IH 35 @ mile marker 132 southbound to assist a disabled motorist. Officers changed the flat tire.
3:35 PM – Officers responded to the area of Rodeo St. @ Benton City Rd. after receiving a tip that a runaway juvenile was seen in the area. Officers located the juvenile and returned her home.
3:52 PM – Officer responded to the HEB C-Store in reference to an unknown male that walked out of the store with an unknown amount of beer 20 minutes prior.
4:32 PM – Officer responded to the HEB Plus for a report of damaged property. Upon arrival it was determined that the vehicle was not damaged.
5:38 PM – Officer responded to Terry Ln. to assist Atascosa Co. S.O. with a disturbance.
6:07 PM – Officer responded to the 18000 Blk. of Ball Rd. to assist EMS with a suicidal female.
8:45 PM – Officer responded to the dead end of D’Hanis St. in reference to noises coming from within a residence under construction. Officer located a male who was identified as the owner.
September 2
10:53 AM – Officer responded to the Best Western Plus for a report hit & run accident. The vehicle was unoccupied at the time of the collision.
10:53 AM – Officer responded to Morales Feed & Seed for an activated burglar alarm.
5:14 PM – Officers responded to Juarez Street to assist with attempting to locate a phone stolen from another jurisdiction.
9:10 PM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N for a report of a reckless driver.
10:07 PM – Officer responded to the Lytle VFD and assisted Lytle EMS with a patient
