Natalia Police Report April 18-22


April 18, 2017
9:50 pm – Officer responded to 800 block of 3rd St. in reference to a possible disturbance. Medina County Deputies were close and responded as well. Officer arrived on location and made contact with the complainant. He advised his step-daughter’s boyfriend had arrived at his residence to see his child. The complainant stated the suspect started to have words with him and started to curse and disrespect him in his house. The suspect had fled the scene, but was located minutes later by MCSD #296-34 and brought him back to location where he was issued a criminal trespass. All officers cleared the scene without incident.
April 19, 2017
11:38 pm – Officer responded to the Love’s Store in Natalia in reference to a possible disturbance. Officer spoke to the complainant and she informed the officer her ex-girlfriend had showed up and started to harass her while she was at work. Both officers escorted the complainant to her car and were met by the suspect. Officers spoke to the suspect and she was told not to return back to Love’s bothering the complainant. The suspect agreed and left the property without incident.
April 20, 2017
5:50 pm – Officer responded to the 100 block of 3rd Street in reference to an information report. Officer made contact with complainant and she informed the officer there were two small children that she has had over to her house and played with her children, running from her residence carrying and dropping toys on the ground as she pulled up to her house. The complainant went and spoke to the parent of the small children and was reassured the children would not go into the complainant’s house without permission again.
April 21, 2017
4:21 pm. – Officer responded to 2700 block of Hwy 132 in reference to possible animal cruelty. Officer observed two dogs chained up to a pole in the backyard, one with water and the other without water. The owner of the dogs got home and advised the dogs always have water. The one dog just over-turned his bowl. There were no signs of any kind of cruelty to the two dogs.
8:57 pm. – Officer responded to the 300 block of 3rd Street in reference to a civil matter. Officer stated there were some disagreements about the mother of a teenage son letting him walk the streets and not being responsible by going to Natalia and picking him up at an adequate time. Officer took down the information and cleared the scene.
April 22, 2017
2:40 pm. – Officer responded to IH 35 Southbound in reference to a minor crash just inside Natalia. Officer arrived and spoke to both drivers checking their welfare and advised both drivers didn’t need EMS to check them out. Officer gave both parties a Blue Form and explained the form to them, to which they understood all instructions. Officer cleared the scene going back into service.
