04-15-2024 – Warrant Service – On duty officer was informed by the Chief of Police that an individual with an active warrant had just shown up at the police station, the officer returned to the police station and took custody of the individual and that individual was taken to the Medina County jail for further processing.
04-15-2024 – Narcotics Violation – On duty officer responded to a local residence for a call of an individual that was on the property in violation of bond conditions, that individual was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and taken to Medina County jail for further processing.
04-16-2024 – Suspicious Circumstances – On duty officers responded to a call for a suspicious person attempting to cut the fence at a local business, upon arrival they were met with resistance, after a brief struggle with officers that individual was arrested and charged with failure to ID, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia and was taken to the Medina County jail. Neither the officers nor the suspect were injured.
04-16-2024 – Assist Citizen – On duty officer responded to a call where the homeowner said no one should have been in her house, the officer cleared the house to ensure it was safe for the homeowner, several items were found not belonging to the owner and were seized as found property, there was also a vehicle left abandoned in the driveway.
04-16-2024 – Criminal Mischief – On duty officer responded to a call for criminal mischief at a local business, video recorded proof showed the individuals destroying the property, and stealing items from the property, the cost of repair was estimated at over $100.00
04-17-2024 – Alarm Call – On duty officer responded to a call for a motion alarm at a local business, officer used his flashlight to check the interior of the business and did a walk around to ensure all exterior doors were secure, officer found all to be secure at that time.
04-17-2024 – Harassment – On duty officer was called to a local business for a call of harassment, an individual had been repeatedly calling the business harassing the manager, the on duty officer spoke with all parties and was able to bring the situation to an end.
04-18-2024 – Alarm Call – On duty officer responded to a call for an alarm at a local business, upon arrival the officer discovered an open door at the business, the officer notified dispatch who then got a hold of the “key holder” who came out to try and secure the door, the lock had been changed, the key was located and the door was secured.
04-18-2024 – Disturbance – On duty officer responded to a call for two males in a verbal altercation possibly turning physical, upon arrival on duty officer spoke with reporting party as the two males had fled the scene prior to police arrival, a search of the area was conducted but the two males were not found.
04-20-2024 – Loose Livestock – On duty officer responded to a call for a loose goat on the caller’s property, upon arrival it was discovered a goat had wandered onto the caller’s property. Officers were able to find a resident with enough land where the goat could be kept safely until claimed.
