5:25 PM – 14800 Blk. Lytle-Somerset St. – The officer responded to a verbal disturbance between an employee and a customer.

The passenger, a 39 year old male, was arrested for an active warrant out of Atascosa County for Criminal Trespass. Subjects were booked into the Atascosa County jail.

12:39 PM – 63300 Blk. Diaz St. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for a no-license plate light, which resulted in a 28 year old female’s arrest for Driving While Intoxicated. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.

2:12 AM – IH 35 SB Frontage Rd. @ Benton City Rd. – Officer initiated a traffic stop for failing to dim their headlights, which resulted in a vehicle pursuit. The pursuit was canceled for the safety of the public.
3:17 AM – Main St. @ Somerset St. – Officers initiated a traffic stop for speeding, which resulted in the arrest of a 21 year old male for Driving While Intoxicated. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.
11:30 AM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers responded to unlock a 2011 Dodge Nitro.
1:46 PM – 19400 Blk. McDonald St. – Officer responded to unlock a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado.
3:57 PM – IH 35 Frontage Rd. @ Creek St. – Officer checked on a female carrying a bag of clothing on the side of the roadway.
5:40 PM – Martin St. @ Oak St. – Officers observed the temporary stop sign was on the ground and repositioned it.
6:12 PM – 19300 Blk. McDonald St. – Officers observed a 19 year old male, who had an active warrant for Terroristic Threats Causing Fear or Imminent Serious Bodily Injury out of Atascosa County. Subject was booked into the Atascosa County jail.
Sunday, April 21
9:31 AM – 19900 Blk. FM 3175 – Officers responded to an active alarm. The business was secure.
10:05 AM – 146000 Blk. FM 2790 – Officer responded to a report of a damaged lock on a storage unit, it was determined the damage occurred on 4/13/2024.
11:42 AM – 15100 Blk. Main St. – Officers responded to an active alarm. The business was secured.
1:48 PM – 14600 Blk. FM 2790 – Officers responded to a storage unit theft report on 4/13/2024 at 9:17 PM. The owner reported an approximately $15,000 loss of various tools and sports memorabilia.
8:05 PM – 15000 Blk. Short St. – Officers responded to a 911 hang up.
10:36 PM – FM 2790 @ Cottage St. – The officer observed traffic control barrels that had been placed in the roadway on FM 2790 N. While moving the barrels the officer observed three males flee on foot, a foot pursuit ensued. Ofc. A. Lopez and Capt. Dear were able to locate the males after a search. An 18 year old male, a 17 year old male, and a 18 year old male were arrested and booked into the Atascosa County Jail for Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot (A Class B. Misd.).
