03/12-Information – Officer on duty was patrolling the Love’s Warehouse when approached by an employee who feared possible retaliation by another employee he had reported to management earlier. This report had resulted in disciplinary action being taken against this other employee and this person making verbal threats toward him. He wanted to file a report in order to document his concerns should this other person act on his threats.
03/12-Vehicle Misuse – The Officer on duty was dispatched to a call regarding a black truck doing donuts with his vehicle on the backside of Chubby’s parking lot. Upon arrival at the location the Officer conducted a search of the area but was not able to locate the vehicle reported to dispatch.
03/13- Information – The Officer on duty was dispatched to a report about individuals riding four wheelers and a mini bike up and down the street at high rates of speed. Upon arrival at the location the Officer did not find any vehicles on the road but did observe a group of individuals playing basketball and a parked four wheeler. The individuals denied riding the four wheeler so the Officer made the individuals aware that riding four wheelers and mini bikes on the city street was illegal and could result in a citation.
03/14/ Disturbance – The Officer on duty was dispatched for a disturbance between two family members. Upon arrival at the location the Officer made contact with both parties who were made aware that a previously filed Criminal Trespass Order was no longer in effect. The Officer was able to convince one of the family members to leave the location and advised them to call and request a standby with the Police Department when ready to remove their belongings from the residence thus avoiding any further conflict.
03/16 Animal Impound – The Officer on duty was able to trap a white lab who had been roaming the city. The dog was placed in the City Kennels and Medina Animal Control was notified.
03/17 Information – The Officer on duty was dispatched to take a complaint about a Stolen Property report. Upon arrival at the location the Officer took statements from both parties involved and informed both parties that an investigation into this matter would be conducted in order to make a final determination regarding the stolen property.
