8:10 AM Sgt. Hanson – Officer responded to Dollar General for a report of a disturbance. The manager reported a customer was becoming aggressive and angry. The manager requested a criminal trespass be issued to the customer. Officer issued a Criminal Trespass Notice to subject.
8:20 AM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for the report of the natural death of a 60-year-old male subject.
9:35 AM – Officer responded to Lytle State Bank for a report of a check fraud. Case under investigation.
10:35 AM – Officer responded to FM 2790 N for a report of a reckless driver. Officer was unable to locate.
11:42 AM – Officer responded to 15000 Blk. of Main for a report of an elderly woman walking in traffic. Officer located the woman and asked if she was ok. She appeared alert and oriented and denied walking in traffic.
3:21 PM – Traffic stop resulted in an alert for a child safety check. The child was not present in the vehicle and the driver advised that the child had ran away and was reported to Corpus Christi PD.
3:51 PM – Officer responded to Pecan Grove Apts. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed a tire of a vehicle.
4:45 PM – Officer responded to Pachangon Auto Sales for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed 5 different tires on 4 vehicles.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to 15800 Blk. of Lake Breeze for report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed the back tire of a vehicle.
5:45 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Apts. for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed two tires of a vehicle.
8:45 PM – Officer responded to Beall’s for a talk to an officer in reference to a woman putting unpaid merchandise into her backpack. Officer made contact with the female and searched the bag and found no property in the bag.
10:25 PM – Officer responded to 1900 Blk. of CR 6710 for a talk to an officer in reference to potato being shoved in complainant’s vehicle exhaust pipe.
10:40 PM – Traffic stop at the 15200 Blk. of Main St. resulted in the arrest of a 31-year-old male subject for Driving While License Suspended with No Insurance. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
July 25
12:58 AM – Traffic stop at the 17900 Blk. of FM 2790 N resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old male subject for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Subject was cited and released.
1:50 AM – Officer attempted to make a traffic stop of a vehicle that had run a stop sign at FM 2790 E and IH 35 N Frontage Rd. Four juveniles jumped out of the vehicle and ran. Officer caught a 15 YO Female and arrested her for Evading Arrest or Detention. The vehicle rolled into a ditch causing damage to vehicle. A check of the vehicle resulted in the discovery that it was stolen out of San Antonio. The 15 YO female was cited and released to her father.
12:18 PM – Officers responded to John Lott Park for a report of a suspicious man sitting on a park bench near the children’s playground. Officer located the citizen who frequents the park.
3:00 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Mini Storage for a report of criminal mischief. An unknown person(s) slashed a tire of a vehicle.
6:00 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to several items that were stolen and possibly at the El Bufalo Pawn.
9:45 PM – Officer responded to 18200 Blk. of Wisdom St. for a report of shots fired. Officer later discovered the suspect was banging rocks on a tin roof. No guns or casings were located.
11:23 PM – Traffic stop at Norvell St. and Live Oak St. resulted in the arrest of a 30-year-old female subject for having a Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Possession of Controlled Substance PG1 < 1g. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
11:25 PM – Officer noted a male subject dressed in dark clothing standing at the corner of Live Oak St. and N. Somerset. Office made contact and ID the male. Subject had car troubles and was waiting for help.
July 26
3:40 AM – Officer responded to Best Western Plus for a report of a suspicious vehicle flashing its lights. Officer was unable to locate vehicle.
3:58 AM – Officer conducted a follow-up on a case under investigation.
8:45 AM – Complainants stopped by the Police Station to report two vehicle tires that had been slashed while parked at their apartment at Pecan Grove Apts.
9:00 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of an elderly male driving that shouldn’t be driving due to medical condition. The complainant was the daughter following the father. Officer located all subjects and the elderly couple agreed to go with daughter back home.
9:25 AM – Officer responded to IH 35 S at Mile Marker 131 for a report of two vehicles that struck debris in roadway on IH 35 and now disabled at Days Inn. Officer located the debris along with the vehicle that it came from. Officer notified DPS who worked the accident.
12:35 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Apartments for a report that complainant’s estranged boyfriend took her vehicle without consent. The vehicle was entered as stolen. The vehicle was recovered the next day by San Antonio PD.
4:25 AM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of an unknown person(s) who damaged the front window of residence.
5:00 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
5:55 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a customer that did not pay $20 for gas. Customer called back and realized she did not pay for the gas. Customer agreed to come back the next day and pay.
6:06 PM – Officers responded to Family Dollar for a report of a shop lifter. Complainant stated subject attempted to take $26.78 worth of items. A 36-year-old female subject was cited for Theft < $100. She was also given a Criminal Trespass Warning.
6:35 PM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Newton St. for talk to an officer in reference to drug paraphernalia.
9:00 PM – Officer responded to 19700 Blk. of Creek St. for a report of several vehicle tires being slashed.
11:51 PM – Officer made contact with a 15 YO female walking in the dark on N. Somerset St. at Adams St. Officer gave her a courtesy ride home.
July 27
12:41 AM – Officers made contact with three juveniles. Officers advised them of the city’s curfew and they agreed to go inside.
1:55 AM – Traffic stop at IH 35 S Frontage and FM 3175 resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old male subject for having an Active Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Unauthorized Use of Motor Vehicle. During inventory of vehicle, a baggie of marijuana was found. Driver was also arrested for Possession of Marijuana < 2 oz. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
2:10 AM – Officer responded Sonic Drive-In for an alarm.
2:15 AM – Officer responded to 14700 Blk. of Railroad St. for a talk to an officer in reference to complainant’s children taking a vehicle key from his key ring. Officer spoke to the children regarding their misbehaving.
7:45 AM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a disturbance. Employee reported a person yelling and screaming at customers. Subject left prior to officer’s arrival.
12:43 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Public Library and provided a courtesy ride to a juvenile male that was not picked up back to his residence in Natalia.
1:10 PM – Officers responded to 15700 Blk. of CR 681 for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of residence. Officers were unable to locate.
7:12 PM – Officer responded to 15800 Blk. of White Cap Dr. for a report of a verbal disturbance. Subject departed prior to officer’s arrival.
10:05 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Elementary School for a report of three juveniles sitting in a car in the parking lot. The juveniles stated they were out jogging the perimeter of the parking lot since the track was locked.
July 28
1:54 AM – Traffic stop at N. Prairie St. and Laredo St. resulted in the arrest of 20-year-old male subject for having an Active Warrant out of La Salle Co. for an Original Charge of Criminal Trespass. Vehicle and passenger were released to a friend. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
4:25 AM – Traffic stop at Mesquite St. resulted in the driver evading arrest then bailing out and running from officer. A 26-year-old male passenger was located by Ofc. Petrash and arrested for Evading Arrest or Detention. He was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
6:20 PM – Officers responded to HEB Plus for a report of a disturbance between two customers. The situation was resolved, both parties departed.
7:50 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 Frontage Rd. at FM 3175 for a stop sign that was knocked over. Lytle Public Works placed a temporary stop sign at intersection.
9:55 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 NB to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
July 29
2:10 AM – Officers responded to IH 35 Access Rd. NB to assist the Lytle Vol. Fire Dept. with a major accident.
7:55 AM – Officer responded to Laundry Mat for a report of an unwanted person. A criminal trespass noticed was issued to subject as per complainant’s request.
8:20 AM – Officer responded to Tots to Teens for an alarm. Employee accidentally set off alarm.
10:40 AM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a shoplifter fleeing. Officer located the vehicle and stopped suspect. A 29-year-old male subject was arrested for Theft < $100. He was also cited for Driving While License Invalid. A criminal trespass warning was issued as per complainant’s request.
11:00 AM – Officer responded to 16000 Blk. of Lake Shore Dr. to unlock a vehicle.
7:30 PM – Officer responded to FM 463 for a report of a loose cow. Officer was unable to locate.
9:24 PM – Officer responded to 15600 Blk. of CR 681 for a report of a man that had been assaulted. Officer was advised by complainant that the male approached her at the gate and told her he had been assaulted and robbed. Complainant asked him to wait at the gate while she called for help and when she returned he was gone. Officer searched the area and was unable to locate the male.
11:30 PM – Officer responded to Cortez Rd. for a report of Loud Music.
July 30
1:28 AM – Officer responded to Brown’s Tackle & Gun for an alarm. Officer found building to be secure.
12:44 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 S at exit 131 for a report of an 18 wheeler on fire. Driver stated it was not on fire, that the turbocharger had failed and was blowing white smoke. Driver had help on the way and was safely off the road on the shoulder.
1:40 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Nursing Home for the report of the natural death of a 65-year-old female subject.
4:25 PM – Officer responded to 15400 Blk. of Cottage St. for a report of a water leak at the meter. Officer observed a small leak and contacted Lytle Public Works who stated a worker would be sent out to check the leak.
6:55 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a disoriented female. Officer arrived and made contact with the elderly female and provided a courtesy ride to the Home Town Depot where she would meet a caretaker.
8:00 PM – Officer responded to Dollar General for a report of a suspicious male. Officer spoke with the manager who stated the male was only conversing and joking with the employees and was welcomed at the store.
