Devine Police Report July 14-20

July 14
11:06 AM – Officer assisted Natalia PD with an active disturbance. Male assaulting a female.
11:18 AM – Officer assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office in reference to complainant’s identity theft by a family member.
11:45 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
1:19 PM – Officer spoke to complainant at Devine Food Mart in reference to counterfeit money that was passed at the business.
1:44 PM – Officer assisted a stranded motorist on SB IH-35 near mile marker 123. Officer provided courtesy ride.
1:50 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Davis Ave. reported two tires of her parked vehicle were slashed by person(s) unknown.
1:54 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on Colonial Pkwy. The female driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
2:02 PM – Complainant reported a vehicle driving recklessly in the Walmart parking lot.
3:52 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Davis Ave. reported her phone was possibly stolen.
10:00 PM – A male subject at Devine Trailer Park ordered food from Pizza Hut and paid with counterfeit bills. The counterfeit money was confiscated by police, and the subject was cited and released.
July 15
12:02 AM – Complainant reported a white pickup truck facing the wrong way on the 124 Exit. Unable to locate.
2:56 AM – Complainant at Valley Mart #15 reported a male subject walking around the parking lot looking in cars. Officers patrolled area; unable to locate.
1:56 PM – A female subject fled from Walmart asset protection associate and left in a vehicle that had been reported stolen in San Antonio. Charges pending.
5:00 PM – Female subject in the 200 block of S. Commercial Dr. wanted her drunk boyfriend to leave the property. The boyfriend was given a courtesy ride to Natalia. All was okay.
9:30 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 200 block of W. Hondo Ave. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
9:58 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of W. Hondo Ave. The driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
July 16
5:30 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart for a detained shoplifter. A County court citation was issued to a male subject.
8:21 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Fox Run reported a red Ford Focus parked in front of his residence. Vehicle was located in the 300 block of Colonial Pkwy; all was okay.
July 17
8:40 PM – Complainant in the 1100 block of Libold Dr. advised her male neighbor was being profane and cursing at her children. The neighbor also started a fire in his BBQ pit with gasoline and caught his shorts on fire. The male subject was taken to a hospital EMS.
July 18
1:19 AM – Complainant reported two male subjects in a field. Unable to locate. Complainant advised wrong location. The field was by Dodge truck center on CR 777 at IH-35.
1:38 AM – Subject wrecked into a vehicle in the Brown Dodge Chrysler Jeep parking lot. Occupants departed. Charges pending.
2:03 AM – Report of male subject behaving in a profane way in a grassy area behind Valley Mart #15. The male subject was later found asleep. All was okay.
4:05 AM – Complainant reported a red passenger vehicle all over the roadway on IH-35 NB. Unable to locate.
11:00 AM – Complainant reported her 19-year-old daughter was assaulted. Complainant was referred to the MCSO.
1:13 PM – Complainant at Amigos Country Corner reported a male subject outside the store. The subject was sleeping. All was okay.
6:12 PM – Officer spoke to complainant at Devine Trailer Park in reference to his son damaging a window of his vehicle.
July 19
3:16 AM – Officer investigated subjects at Devine city park. Subjects were over 17; all was okay.
3:39 AM – Officer investigated five teenage male subjects on bicycles in the 200 block of S. Upson Dr. All were identified and released.
11:32 AM – Subject on CR 7711 found wallet belonging to a male subject. The wallet was returned to its owner.
1:23 PM – Complainant reported a vagrant hanging out for eight days. The vagrant was described as being a male subject with in blue jeans, with a backpack and a big stick.
1:36 PM – Complainant at Triple C Steakhouse reported a male subject in the parking lot with blue jeans and a backpack. The subject was located at Walmart and given a courtesy ride to Moore.
1:55 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Hayden Ave. reported the loss of a remote for a vehicle key. Complainant requested documentation in case the keys are turned in.
July 20
12:12 AM – Complainant reported an 18-wheeler with a red cab and a trailer with sand driving all over the roadway on NB IH-35. Unable to locate.
2:33 AM – Officers spoke to a male subject with a duffle bag. The subject had had an argument with is girlfriend and left the residence for the evening.
11:05 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. The male driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
4:10 PM – Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 200 block of N. Transportation Dr. Two male subjects were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
6:21 PM – Complainant reported a small white car traveling 10-15 mph on NB IH-35. Unable to locate.
10:00 PM – Officers spoke to a male subject sitting on the side of the road in the 300 block of S. Teel Dr. The subject was given a courtesy ride to Moore.
