Lytle Police Report April 23-29


April 23

2:30 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a civil matter.
6:41 PM – Officer responded to Lytle High School Gym to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
8:30 PM – Officer responded to 18800 Blk. of Live Oak St. to assist Atascosa EMS with a patient.
9:25 PM – Officer responded to 14900 Blk. of Adams St. for a report of a theft of a bicycle taken from a storage unit. Total estimated value $188. The bike was recovered abandoned on 4/29/18.
11:20 PM – Officer responded to Lytle City Hall to meet with a complainant who stated she was possibly being followed by a suspicious male driving a Chevy truck. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
April 24
12:45 AM – Officer responded to HEB P-Lot for a report of a welfare check on 4 dogs in the back of a pickup. Officer made contact with the driver and stated they had been hunting.
2:00 PM – Officer responded to Blume Dr. for a report of a door to door solicitor without a permit. The parties agreed to obtain a solicitor’s permit.
4:00 PM – Officer responded to 18500 Blk. of FM 2790 N for a report of an alarm. All was fine.
4:00 PM – Officer talked to complainant in regards to a theft. Officer referred complainant to Medina Co. SO since the incident occurred outside Lytle PD’s jurisdiction.
5:45 PM – Officer talked to complainant in regards to an incident that occurred outside of Lytle PD jurisdiction. Complainant was referred to Medina Co. SO.
6:25 PM – Officer talked to complainant in regards to her 13 YO son who was assaulted by a fellow Jr. High School student. The complainant intends to follow up with the school principal before filing a criminal complainant.
April 25
1:20 AM – Traffic stop at Main St. resulted in the seizure of contraband.
4:58 AM – Officer responded to Trinity Baptist Church to assist Atascosa Co. SO with a pursuit and then inventory of the vehicle.
12:25 PM – Officer responded to John Lott Park for a report of a 911 hang up call. Officer was unable to locate anyone.
5:55 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus for a report of a reckless driver in the parking lot. Officer searched the area, unable to locate.
6:36 PM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of IH 35 S for a report of a two vehicle crash.
April 26
7:02 AM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. for a report of criminal mischief. Victim came out of her house to discover a person had spray painted on her vehicle. Also, both driver’s side tires had been slashed.
11:28 AM – Officer responded to Southwind Subdivision to assist Atascosa Co. with a burglary in progress call. Suspects fled prior to our arrival. Suspects were detained by Bexar Co. SO and Somerset PD.
1:43 PM – Officer responded to 17900 Blk. of Wisdom Rd. for a report of shots being fired. Officer located two men shooting an AR-15 style rifle in a wooded area behind Old Frio City Rd. Both men agreed to stop shooting.
4:05 PM – Officer responded to 14800 Blk. of Adams. St. for a report of a residential alarm.
4:36 PM – Officer responded to 20000 Blk. of Hyde Park for a report of a residential alarm.
6:06 PM – Officers responded to Taco Bell for a report of an alarm. Officers arrived and noticed all was normal.
8:30 PM – Officer responded to HEB Plus and assist Atascosa Co. with locating a juvenile. The juvenile was located and was returned home by deputies.
April 27
7:28 AM – Officer responded to 19300 Blk. of McDonald St. for a report of a man laying face down in the road. Officer discovered a man laying on the road with head injuries. Atascosa EMS was notified and was the male subject was transported to the hospital. It was determined the man had a seizure.
10:50 AM – Officer responded to 19800 Blk. of Bruce St. to assist Atascosa EMS with female patient.
1:30 PM – Officer responded to 19500 Blk. of S. Benton St. for a report of a civil matter – property dispute.
3:01 PM – Complainant called the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to her front license plate missing from her vehicle.
5:20 PM – Complainant stopped by the Police Station and talked to an officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
5:50 PM – Officer responded to Lytle Community Cemetery for a report of a possibly misplaced wallet.
5:50 PM – A male individual stopped by the Police Station and was acting suspicious and being verbally abusive towards officers. Suspect departed after recording video of the PD and rear entrance.
April 28
7:41 AM – Complainant stopped by the police station and talked to officer in reference to a civil matter – child custody.
11:57 AM – Complainant reported that she has been receiving harassing phone messages from the father of her child.
12:29 PM – Officers responded to Mile Marker 132 at IH 35 NB for a report of a large box in the roadway. Officers drove one mile each direction and were unable to locate anything in the roadway.
2:45 PM – While on a traffic stop at 15000 Blk. of Railroad St. a female approached officers in regards to a sick stray dog on Railroad St. The dog was later retrieved by Lytle Animal Control.
8:15 PM – Officer responded to Metro PCS for a report of an alarm. Employee was on scene and the alarm was reset.
8:50 PM – Officer responded to 15300 Blk. of Cottage St. for a report of two suspicious packages delivered to the residence. The packages were replacement fire extinguishers for two fire extinguishers purchased years ago by the owner.
9:40 PM – Officers responded to HEB C-Store for a report of a possible intoxicated person driving up to the C-Store and involved in a family disturbance with husband. Officers arrived and found Bexar Co. SO out with the vehicle stopped and all subjects out of the vehicle. The 42 year old male had an Active Warrant out of Bexar Co. for Theft $100 – $750. Subject was transported to Atascosa Co. Jail.
April 29
11:28 AM – Officers responded to Main St. to assist Medina Co. to be on the lookout for a burgundy Nissan Altima that was involved in a disturbance in Medina Co. Officers were unable to locate.
12:35 PM – Officers responded to 19200 Blk. of Blume Drive for a report of a theft of a vehicle. An unknown person(s) stole a 1993 Chevy extended cab pickup. The owner stated the truck was parked and last seen at 7 PM on 4/28/18.The truck was recovered in an unknown condition on 4/30/18 in the Castroville area.
3:05 PM – Officers responded to FM 3175 at Dove Mill Estates to assist Atascosa Co. Deputy with a juvenile female that was involved in an altercation with her mother and had walked off. Officers located the juvenile on the side of the road and stood by until Atascosa Co. Deputy arrived.
6:55 PM – Officer responded to Chevron for a report of a welfare check on a driver. Officer made contact with the driver inside of the store and noted he was under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was picked up by his wife from the location.
9:20 PM – Officer responded to HEB C-Store and issued a criminal trespass warning.
