After a short season, the JV2 Warhorses end their season 2-3-1. “I believe that the JV2 improved tremendously throughout the season. They worked hard and made it easy to coach them. They had a good season and we look forward to seeing them continue to learn the great sport of baseball,” said Coach Bart Oropeza.
In their final game of the season, the JV2 Warhorses lost to Medina Valley 1-5. Top of the third, Marcus Espinosa hit a triple to center. Kannon Ramirez singled to short and Espinosa scored.
Espinosa 1 run, 1 hit. Ramirez 2 hits, 1 RBI. Xsavior Contreras 1 hit. Ramirez threw 16 strikes in 36 pitches. Carlos Gutierrez 30 strikes in 54 pitches. Joey Blanquiz 7 strikes in 22 pitches.
