Junior Varsity Baseball had a scrimmage against Pleasanton that ended in a tie of 2-2. The Warhorses were able to allow several pitchers take the mound to get some pre-season throws across the plate. Mando Guitierres, Darron Lafferty, Evan Priest, Blaine Miller and Riley Barton all pitched for Devine.
“They all pounded the strike zone as they rotated on the pitcher’s mound every inning. We will continue to practice and continue to improve as the season goes on” said Coach Part Oropeza.
The JV Warhorses will play San Antonio Kennedy Friday night at 4:30 and will be followed by the varsity.
