JV Warhorse XC grabs 12th place in Corpus

Nine individual Devine JV Warhorse runners of 275 total competitors took to the Texas A&M at Corpus Christi Cross Country course last Saturday morning down on the coast. It was each of the Warhorses first time to run the course which also doubles as the Class 4A regional site.
Matthew Madrid (62nd, 18:56.77) led the JV followed by Marcus Espinosa (77nd, 19.10.27), Zachary Alvarez (82nd, 19:16.82), Damian Martinez (105th, 19:48.52), Michael Reichel (120th, 20:04.45), Roy Gutierrez (161st, 21:20.55), Jeremy Castillas (190th, 22:19.61), Andy Cordova (198th, 22:29.36), and Gus Puente (23:11.77).
Laredo Martin won the meet with 42 points followed by Laredo Nixon (58), and PSJA Memorial (117).
