DHS hosting FAFSA Night Nov. 12


Devine HS will be hosting a FAFSA Night on Nov 12 from 5:30 – 7:00.
FAFSA is a requirement for students who plan to attend a college, university or technical school. FAFSA determines the students’ eligibility for federal financial aid, grants, scholarships, work-study and low-interest student loans.
Lytle, Natalia, and Hondo parents and students are welcome. Please call 830.851.0811 for a reservation.
Parents will need to bring the following information: Student’s Social Security number; Parents’ Social Security numbers; Student’s driver’s license number; Student’s Alien Registration number if not a U.S. citizen; Parents’ Federal tax information or tax returns including IRS W-2 information (IRS 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ); Foreign tax return; Tax return for Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, or Palau; Record of parents’ untaxed income, such as child support received, interest income, and Veterans non-education benefits; Information on cash; savings and checking account balances; and Investments, including stocks and bonds and real estate.
