Devine Police Report Sept. 10-19


Sept. 10
7:38 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of W. Hondo Ave. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
Sept. 14
12:10 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of E. Hondo Ave. The female driver was cited for driving without a license.
11:39 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Dixon Dr. called the Medina County Sheriff’s Office to advise she believes she hears noise coming from her attic. Officer made location and home is secure.
5:22 PM – An adult female in the 300 block of Briscoe Ave. was transported by EMS to Southwest General Hospital for an emergency detention.
7:51 PM – Complainant ran out of fuel on IH-35 NB. Officer gave the subject a courtesy ride to a gas station.
8:10 PM – Complainant found the key fob to a Hyundai in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. back in June or July.
Sept. 15
1:47 AM – Complainant in the 1000 block of Malone Dr. spoke to officers in reference to a bike stolen from a balcony.
4:20 AM – Dog barking in the 200 block of Howell Ave. Officer patrolled the area; unable to locate.
10:15 PM – Officers dispatched to Walmart in reference to a tan SUV with four males looking inside of vehicles. Unable to locate.
10:50 PM – Power line down in the 500 block of W. Davis Ave. AEP was contacted and made location to repair.
11:55 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Hester Ave. reported an unknown male subject seen at the location. Unable to locate.
Sept. 16
12:31 PM – Complainant reported a red Ford car dragging its rear bumper on IH-35 NB. Unable to locate.
5:28 PM – Officer dispatched to the 500 block of N. Transportation Dr. in reference to a disturbance between a female complainant and a male subject. All was okay; the male subject left prior to officer’s arrival.
Sept. 17
2:57 AM – Dog barking in the area of the 500 block of Fullerton. Unable to locate.
5:07 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Hwy. 132 N. requested assistance with suspicious activity. Caller advised it sounded like a man was yelling. All was okay; just livestock.
11:27 AM – DPS requested another unit for standby.
1:29 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. advised a brown Chevy was parked in the roadway. Officer made location; all was okay, the truck was not on the roadway.
10:32 PM – A third party called and advised a male subject in the 700 block of Rosemary was not letting his girlfriend leave the residence. Officers spoke with both parties and no disturbance had occurred. The issues were more concerning the male subject’s mother. The female subject left the residence for the evening.
Sept. 18
12:14 AM – Complainant in the 200 block of W. Coker Ave. advised she and her husband were having a verbal disturbance. Complainant advised her husband damaged their car while leaving the scene. Contact was made with both parties, who separated for the evening.
12:34 AM – A vehicle had a flat in the 100 block of N. Teel Dr. and the owner did not have a floor jack. Officer provided a floor jack.
12:35 PM – An adult female subject at DHS was transported by EMS to Laurel Ridge for an emergency detention.
1:46 PM – Officers removed debris on the roadway on Windy Knoll Dr.
8:02 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 400 block of N. Teel Dr. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
Sept. 19
4:04 AM – A 911 line with just dogs barking in the background was left open in the 300 block of Dubose Dr. Officer spoke with the resident, who advised 911 was accidentally dialed.
8:40 AM – Complainant in the Colonial Mobile Home Park believes items are being taken from her home.
9:35 AM – Complainant on IH-35 NB reported a white truck pulling a trailer was carrying pipes that were sticking out towards passing vehicles. Unable to locate.
Sept. 20
7:41 AM – Officers confirmed that one male subject was buying a 2011 blue Ford Taurus from another male subject in the 400 block of Jefferson Dr. All was okay.
8:01 PM – Officers dispatched to N. Transportation Dr. in reference to a male subject sitting on the train tracks. Officers checked the area and walked the tracks; unable to locate.
