Devine Police Report May 21-27

May 21
10:38 PM – Male subject on location in the 300 block of Adams Ave. causing issues. Male left prior to officer’s arrival.
9:30 PM – Officer found loaded pistol magazine on male subject in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. and confiscated it.
May 22
12:45 AM – Bexar Co. and Atascosa Co. warrants served on male subject in the 400 block of W. Benton Ave. Subject was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance PG 1 1G < 4G.
May 24
3:28 AM – Male subject in the 1100 block of Warhorse Dr. was jailed for public intoxication.
4:32 PM – Minor accident; parties exchanged info.
6:30 PM – Officers dispatched to the 1200 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to an open 911 line. Officers made contact with female subject; all was okay.
6:53 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 SB in reference to a vehicle on the road smoking from the front end and possibly disabled. Unable to locate.
11:23 PM – Officer found a backpack with training equipment at the coach pitch field in the 300 block of N. Upson Dr.
May 25
12:00 AM – Complainant on Rosewood was having a verbal disturbance with a female subject. The female subject agreed to leave.
5:34 PM – Complainant at the park and ride on the IH-35 E. access road reported the theft of a catalytic converter.
9:25 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Live Oak reported that both her sons were involved in a disturbance. Both children were counseled at the request of the parents.
11:23 PM – Complainant advised she lost her black purse in a parking lot in the 100 block of IH-35 S. Complainant called back later to advise purse was found in truck.
May 26
1:30 PM – Complainant at City Hall reported that a male customer was upset over his water bill.
3:45 PM – Minor accident; parties exchanged info.
6:25 PM – Major accident in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. A female subject was transported to the hospital.
10:23 PM – Complainant on Rosewood advised she heard somebody attempting to open her front door and back door.
May 27
8:26 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. reported a disturbance between himself and his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend. All was okay.
4:30 PM – Complainant at City Hall reported that a suspicious male subject was acting strangely at the drive-thru window.
