Devine Police Report Mar. 1-7

Mar. 1
8:55 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Rossville Rd. experienced identity theft. An unknown person went to a credit union in Tennessee and withdrew $4,200 in cash from the complainant’s bank account. The credit union implied the unknown person had ID with the complainant’s name.
9:10 AM – A female complainant in the 500 block of Howell reported she lost her wallet.
5:00 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of N. Transportation Dr. in reference to two females having a verbal disturbance. Officers assisted CPS with removal.
10:12 PM – Officers dispatched to the 700 block of Curtis Ave. in reference to a green truck parked outside the residence. Unable to locate; all was okay.
Mar. 2
2:19 AM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of Breeze Dr. in reference to loud noise in the area. Homeowner in the 200 block of Breeze Dr. was advised to turn down the noise. All was okay.
Mar. 3
2:41 AM – Officers dispatched to the 200 block of Breeze Dr. in reference to loud music. Unable to locate; all was okay.
10:01 AM – Complainant reported a red Mitsubishi driving recklessly on IH-35 NB. Unable to locate.
Mar. 4
8:13 AM – Complainant out of Charlotte advised he lost his wallet on Mar. 2 in an unknown location.
12:26 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. stated there was a green Ford Ranger pickup on his property that was unoccupied.
2:30 PM – Officer assisted with the report of a stove on fire inside a home in the 400 block of N. Teel Dr.
3:47 PM – Complainant at Walmart requested an officer for a theft that had already occurred.
7:26 PM – Officers assisted with a pursuit coming from Frio County on IH-35 NB. The vehicle was spiked near Lytle.
8:42 PM – Verbal disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 200 block of Hondo Ave.
Mar. 5
3:06 PM – Complainant advised that on Mar. 2 around 4:00 PM, she received a knock on her door and a female asked her if she would sell her house.
3:33 PM – Complainant at Food King reported a suspicious female inside the store. Unable to locate.
7:10 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 600 block of Transportation Dr. The female driver was found to have a suspended license and was cited and released.
Mar. 6
7:13 AM – Complainant from Lytle advised his vehicle was forcibly entered at Walmart. Suspected attempted to steal the vehicle and then stole several bagged items from the back seat.
9:50 AM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of E. Hondo Ave. for a male subject who was requesting a refund and was upset because the complainant was refusing. All was okay.
10:04 AM – Officers arrested a male subject in the 100 block of N. Commercial Ave. on a warrant for Criminal Trespass. The subject was jailed.
10:35 AM – A silver Dodge Dakota was reported to be tailgating a light green compact car in the 100 block of Colonial Pkwy. Unable to locate.
10:36 AM – A female complainant on IH-35 NB advised she was driving a black Dodge Nitro and rocks hit her windshield from a truck pulling a trailer. Complainant advised personal information and insurance information was exchanged and both parties left location.
1:13 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. advised two young people were selling perfume out of a vehicle. Unable to locate.
7:29 PM – Complainant in the 200 block of S. Commercial Dr. stated she had an argument with her husband and would come to PD to give a statement. Complainant left for the night.
9:08 PM – Officer assisted MCSO deputies in providing cover and support during a vehicle search in the 400 block of W. Moore Ave. The male driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
Mar. 7
1:27 PM – Officer was requested to contact TxDOT to notify signs are unreadable.
9:48 PM – Report of a large disturbance in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. Officers made location. Two male subjects were detained. Both refused to file charges and were released on scene.
10:02 PM – A male subject stole a truck and led officers on a chase. The subject wrecked out on Webb Ave. and was jailed.
