Natalia Police Report Mar. 3-10

Mar. 3
8:31 PM – Officer responded to IH 35 S about a vehicle going off the roadway crashing. Officer arrived on scene and checked on the driver. The driver was ok and did not need medical services. Officer stood by for DPS to arrive and work the crash. The Trooper arrived on scene and worked the crash. Officer cleared the scene and went back in service.
8:31 PM – Officer responded to the 400 blk. of Miller St. for a civil standby to exchange a child or children. Officer gave a case number to the male subject and cleared the scene.
Mar. 4
7:25 PM – Officer participated in a high speed pursuit coming from Frio County headed northbound towards San Antonio, TX. Officer joined the pursuit once it entered the Natalia city limits, mile marker 127 north. The pursuit continued in excess of 100 mph when DPS deployed spike strips flattening the front right tire. The vehicle exited Shepherd Rd. and stopped on the access road. Approximately 7 or 8 illegal immigrants exited the 4 door truck and started running in all directions. Officers were able to take 9 into custody and turn them over to US Border Patrol.
Mar. 6
2:39 PM – Officer participated in searching the school campuses with a canine looking for contraband and or drugs. The school was clear of any drugs or contraband.
Mar. 7
12:24 PM – Officer responded to the Love’s Truck Stop, located at 21548 FM 471 S about a minor crash. Officer issued blue forms to both the drivers, explained the documents and later cleared the scene.
Mar. 10
8:26 PM – Officer responded to the 700 blk. of 7th St. about a verbal disturbance between brother and sister. Officer arrived and spoke to the complainant about her brother and his verbal abuse towards the family. Officer determined there was no physical violence that occurred and advised the male subject of a warning not to cause any more problems. Officer cleared the scene and returned back in service.
