Devine Police Report Feb. 15-21

Feb. 15
4:00 PM – Complainant advised he lost his wallet from Chayitos. Complainant stated he left wallet on hood and inside the wallet he had his driver’s license and Social Security card.
8:27 PM – Complainant in the 600 block of McAnnelly Ave. advised she saw a male with a hoodie push homeowner into the door next door. Officer made contact with the homeowner; all was okay.
Feb. 16
9:40 AM – Officer dispatched to the 100 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a female asking people for money. Complainant wanted the female checked on. Officer located the female in the 200 block of E. Hondo. The subject was a Heritage patient and was given a ride to the facility. All was okay.
11:38 AM – Officer dispatched to the 700 block of N. Teel Dr. in reference to a white Ford Focus tailgating complainant in a gray car. Unable to locate.
12:57 PM – Officers dispatched to IH-35 NB in reference to two 18-wheelers driving recklessly. Unable to locate.
10:25 PM – Subject in the 200 block of W. Moore Ave. was playing loud music. The music was turned down.
Feb. 17
8:19 AM – Officer dispatched to the 1300 block of W. Hondo Ave. in reference to a male in dark clothes and a black Toyota standing next to a fence at Morales Feed. Officer made contact with the male, who advised his pickup broke down on W. Hondo Ave. Wrecker came from San Antonio; all was okay.
8:05 PM – Officers dispatched to the 500 block of N. Teel Dr. in reference to a verbal disturbance between a father and son. Both separated; all was okay.
Feb. 18
7:35 AM – A 51-year-old male subject was causing problems with the nursing staff in the 600 block of E. Hondo Ave. The subject punched glass on the fire extinguisher case, causing laceration.
10:20 AM – Report of a red steel dump cart missing from a front yard in the 100 block of Harralton Circle.
Feb. 19
3:09 AM – Open door on E. Hondo Ave. All was okay.
8:07 AM – Female in a silver car followed complainant to work from Natalia. The subject has mental health issues and requested to be transported to the hospital.
1:20 PM – Officer dispatched to Walmart in reference to a male and female selling jewelry in the parking lot. Unable to locate.
6:27 PM – Complainant in the 100 block of E. Herring Ave. advised a Hispanic male was going through the complainant’s belongings and possibly took some items. The male subject was on a bike.
Feb. 20
2:24 AM – Female in the front seat of a vehicle in the 600 block of Crouch Ave. The female was ID’d. She was getting stuff out of the vehicle while visiting a friend.
1:13 PM – Subject in a black truck at kennels in the 300 block of Watson Dr. without ACO on location.
1:36 PM – Complainant in the 700 block of Rossville Rd. advised her City trash can was taken. Last seen a month ago and noticed today.
3:21 PM – Complainant advised his vehicle was backed into at service station in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr.
3:26 PM – Loud physical disturbance in the 200 block of W. Moore Ave. Subjects left on foot prior to officers’ arrival. Officer advised they will attempt to locate. Parties separated.
5:35 PM – Officer dispatched to CR 5710 to assist the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a hit and run. Officer canceled while en route.
10:58 PM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation on W. Crouch Ave. The male driver was jailed on multiple Municipal warrants. The male passenger was also jailed on a warrant.
Feb. 21
8:20 AM – Complainant on IH-35 NB advised a white Ford Explorer in the right lane was driving too slow. Officer made contact; the truck had a flat tire.
9:30 AM – Complainant advised of rocks on the roadway on Hondo Ave. TxDot notified.
11:00 AM – Complainant found a keyless fob.
10:56 PM – Officers dispatched to service station in the 100 block of S. Teel Dr. A male located wanted a criminal trespass warning issued. Officers made location and issued the warning to another subject.
