Devine Police Report Dec. 7-13


Dec. 7

10:10 AM – Officers dispatched to the 400 block of Lee Dr. in reference to a male and female engaged in a verbal dispute. The female was out of control.
11:40 AM – An adult female was transported to University Hospital.
4:17 PM – Complainant advised to check low water crossing on Brown, McAnnelly, and Colonial Pkwy. Officer closed McAnnelly and Brown crossings.
Dec. 8
2:10 AM – Officer assisted DPS with an accident on CR 5710. Intoxicated driver.
7:59 AM – Male subject in a red Toyota Corolla drove off from Murphy Gas without paying for $10.00 of gas. Vehicle left toward IH-35.
2:29 PM – Officers assisted the Medina County Sheriff’s Office with a possible physical disturbance in the 200 block of CR 7710. All was okay.
Dec. 9
1:24 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of Hondo Ave. The male driver was cited and released for driving without a license.
9:32 AM – Officer dispatched to location in reference to complainant having issues with her kids fighting. She wanted officer to make the two oldest leave. Complainant was advised that officer could not do that.
11:30 AM – Officer assisted with physical disturbance with possible knife in the 400 block of 4th St. Held scene until deputies arrived.
5:30 PM – Officer dispatched to Hester Ave. in reference to a suspicious person in the roadway. Made location, unable to locate.
8:48 PM – MCSO requested assistance from any officer for Natalia PD for active disturbance involving people fighting in the 400 block of 4th St. Officer made location and provided cover and support.
10:00 PM – MCSO requesting assistance from Devine PD for Natalia PD, who was at the MCSO Jail. Active disturbance involving multiple people fighting in the 400 block of 4th St. Officer made location and parties separated.
Dec. 10
12:00 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 100 block of Teel Dr. The male driver was found to be intoxicated and was jailed.
11:26 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Rossville Rd. reported unknown person(s) took rear bumper from parked vehicle.
2:34 PM – Complainant advised there was a white male on the golf course at the corner of Jack Nicklaus and staff was unable to complete their assignment because the male subject refused to leave. Officer made contact and asked the male subject to depart from the golf course due to maintenance needing to be completed.
3:40 PM – Complainant advised construction is causing vehicles to drive in the wrong direction during school pickup.
4:02 PM – Caller advised officer that there were two male subjects in a silver van who were watching females work out at the park. Officer made location but was unable to locate the van.
4:15 PM – Complainant in the 400 block of W. Colonial Pkwy advised he was missing a set of keys.
4:26 PM – Officers assisted with a major one-vehicle accident on IH-35 near the weigh station.
6:20 PM – Officer dispatched to the 300 block of N. Upson Dr. in reference to several minors sitting in the stands possibly smoking marijuana. Area searched, unable to locate.
9:56 PM – Complainant in the 500 block of Corley Dr. stated verbal disturbance that he wanted his 18-year-old son to leave the residence. Complainant advised that son doesn’t listen to him.
Dec. 11
12:30 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of N. Teel Dr. A male subject was cited and released for driving without a license.
7:52 AM – Older male walking in roadway of Hwy. 173 W. wearing gray sweats. Officer drove a couple of miles north on Hwy. 173 N. and was unable to locate.
3:46 PM – Female complainant in the 500 block of Moore Ave. who is two months pregnant stated she was assaulted by her boyfriend.
4:10 PM – Officer viewed six minors in a disturbance in the 600 block of W. Moore Ave.
4:20 Pm – Assault by contact charges pending for a male who assaulted a female.
Dec. 12
2:17 AM – Complainant in the 600 block of Libold Dr. reported a male was arguing with his girlfriend. The male departed prior to officers’ arrival.
3:40 AM – Complainants in the 300 block of Howard Dr. reported their unlocked vehicles had been entered.
8:02 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. reported that a hand gun was taken from her vehicle. The gun was entered into TCIC/NCIC.
8:05 AM – Items stolen from an F-250 and an F-150 that were left unlocked in the 300 block of DuBose Dr.
8:07 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. reported that stereo equipment was taken from an unlocked vehicle.
8:07 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. reported that items were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.
9:06 AM – Items stolen from two vehicles that were left unlocked in the 300 block of Howard Dr.
9:34 AM – Complainant in the 700 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. advised that the driver’s door of a red Dodge truck was open at a home in the 1000 block of E. Malone Dr. The homeowners were out of town.
12:20 PM – Complainant reported a suspicious male subject pushing a 4-wheeler on Renfro Dr. Description was long hair and beard.
12:48 PM – Complainant reported a couple arguing at the laundry mat.
1:30 PM – A vehicle was abandoned on the side of Allman Dr. All was okay.
3:07 PM – Keys were left in an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Jack Nicklaus Dr. Entered TCIC/NCIC.
5:04 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of DuBose Dr. reported that several items were taken from her parked, unlocked vehicle.
5:10 PM – Red truck in the area of the 200 block of Colonial Pkwy. Truck was broken down. Officer made contact with the owner and the vehicle was moved.
5:20 PM – Complainant in the 300 block of Howard Dr. reported items taken from an unlocked vehicle.
Dec. 13
12:45 AM – Vehicle stopped for a traffic violation in the 300 block of Jamison Dr. A female subject was in possession of a controlled substance PG1 less than 1 gram; 0.4 grams of meth, possession of dangerous drugs, baggies and syringes; and had two active municipal warrants. The subject was jailed.
1:34 AM – Complainant in the 400 block of Barlett St. requesting assistance with a disturbance between a male and female. The male allegedly grabbed a knife. Parties separated.
5:36 AM – Report of a black Tundra on location at restaurant in the 400 block of N. Transportation Dr. Complainant didn’t recognize the vehicle, which departed upon officer’s arrival. Officer conducted a stop and ID’d the driver.
10:11 AM – Complainant in the 100 block of Covey Ln. reported a white Dodge truck was parked in his driveway. Complainant made contact with the subject, who stated he was turning around.
