Natalia Police Report Dec. 9-14


Dec. 9

8:42 PM – Officer responded to the 400 blk. of 4th St. about problems with a family member. Officer arrived on scene to see family members restraining a Hispanic male in question causing the problems. Officer had already issued a criminal trespass warning to this subject earlier in the day. The male subject was arrested for criminal trespassing and later transported to the jail.
Dec. 10
5:16 PM – Officer responded to mile marker 119 southbound to assist with a major crash. Officer arrived on scene and assisted with traffic control. DPS arrived on scene and took over the investigation. Officer was cleared from traffic control and went back in service.
Dec. 11
8:55 AM – Officer responded to the 300 blk. of Bennett St. about a burglary of habitation. Officer was advised of a suspect who broke into the residence and was asleep in the room. When the owner called his name, he fled the residence and was able to locate him. Officer got the suspect’s information and would be getting a warrant for his arrest. Case pending.
8:13 PM – Officer responded to the 800 blk. of Miller St. about a one car crash. Officer arrived on scene and observed a gold truck had backed into a fence post belonging to Natalia ISD. The damage was minimal and gathered all the information for a report. The owner of the vehicle was advised to speak to the Superintendent’s office the next day and see about repairing the damages.
Dec. 13
12:33 AM – Officer responded to the 500 blk. of Palfrey St. about a disturbance. Officer arrived on scene and spoke to the complainant. The complainant stated his nephew, who is always at his sister’s house where he resides, is causing problems and this time got physical with him. Officer asked the complainant if he wanted to file charges on his nephew for assault and refused charges. Officer gathered his information and cleared the scene.
4:22 PM – Officer responded to the 300 blk. of CR 6866 about a car fire at the front gate. Officer stood by while the Natalia Fire Department arrived on scene and extinguished the fire.
Dec. 14
12:19 PM – Officer responded to the Natalia ECC school playground area where a couple of men in a gray van were calling out to the small children, trying to get them to go towards the fence where they were. The officer was advised the teachers called in description and the officer searched the entire area of the school and neighborhood for the van, but was unable to locate it.
4:52 PM – Officer responded to Love’s Truck Stop in Natalia for a minor crash at the refuel area. Officer arrived on scene and spoke to both drivers, issuing them both blue forms.
