Arabians beat Cotulla

In a tough game against Cotulla, the Varsity Arabians won and brought their season record up to 17-5. With some trouble controlling the ball in the first half, Cotulla took advantage of that and scored some easy points. Starting the second half 4 points down, the Arabians picked up the pace and put pressure on Cotulla’s offense creating turnovers and taking the lead. Making their free throws count late in the game the Arabians won 36-32.
Preslee Quisenberry, Sierra Pompa, and Lily Stricker each scored 8, Abby Whitaker 6, Chesney Friesenhahn 3, Megan Runyan 2 and Alissa Stehle 1 point.
“Proud of the improvement this team is showing. They are working hard to get better. I cannot wait for the second part of the season to see what this group can accomplish,” said Coach Jim Sessions.
The Arabians are off for the holiday break and will play NOVA home school December 29th at home. District starts January 5th against Lytle.
